Item Token#2 New Listing 03/18/2008 1863 Multi-Error "Broas Pie Baker" One Country Extreme! This tradesman's token from the civil war era was obtained in a large lot buy out. It appears to us to be in slightly circulated condition. This token shows at least two major striking errors in production. The dies were strongly clashed and the obverse boldly appears on the reverse. It is in inverse rotated at a 90 degree offset rotation. This is very rare and seldom seen on any coin at this level of magnitude. The token also exhibits major shattered dies and must have been a one of a kind. It is amazing to us that the coin was ever minted successfully with such shattered dies. This is a major striking error, one of the boldest we know of! You be the judge for the photos provided. It comes in an "intercept shield holder as pictured. We have been seeking out the examples of this major error to add to our private collection.
