We just obtained this beautiful set of modern
commemoratives in a large estate purchase. It includes the outer sleeve,
the inner box and the velvet display case, it does not have the
certificate of authenticity, unless stated otherwise. The collector was
meticulous and the sets are in pristine condition. Any specks or
blemishes you see are most likely dust and on the clear plastic
capsules, not the coins.

Marine Corps Coin and Stamp Set!
Included in this
handsome limited-edition set are a satin finish uncirculated
Marine Corps 230th Anniversary Silver Dollar and an original 3-cent Iwo
Jima postage stamp, issued by the then United States Post
Office Department in 1945. Both the obverse of the coin and the stamp
carry a rendition of the flag raising image as seen through the lens of
Associated Press photographer Joe Rosenthal atop Mount Suribachi on the
Japanese Island of Iwo Jima, February 23, 1945. It is believed to be the
most reproduced image in the history of photography. This item is sold
out at the US Mint and in high demand. It is still sealed from the US
Mint in the original cellophane wrapper!!
