Box Proof Sets NOTE: These sets characteristically have toned coins and broken, brittle cellophane bags. The bags often fall apart during shipment on pre 1955 box sets. ( NOTE: Some 1954 and all 1955 box sets had the coins placed in poly bags, they are not as brittle with age) The box sets came with iron staples that rust over the years. These are natural imperfections that have occurred due to their 50+ years of age and original condition. The boxes and coins are as pictured and all have the original tissue paper.
